Police department wears patches for Autism Awareness Month

I love seeing stories like this!

April marks Autism Awareness Month and to commemorate it, officers at the Norwalk Police Department are wearing special patches decorated with colorful puzzle pieces.

It’s the symbol for the National Autistic Society.

The department is also selling the patches for $5.

Proceeds will be donated to The Homestead in Clive, which provides academic services to children with autism.

April 1-30 is Autism Awareness Month.

Please show your support. 🙂
